Film maker Daniel Florencio Launches Kickstarter Crowdfunding Campaign for his film Chasing Robert Barker.
The goal is to raise £50,000 for a movie about the story of a Paparazzi photographer in his chase for a celebrity, before the wake of the “phone hacking’ scandal in Britain.
London — Daniel Florencio has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter.com, in hope of raising a total of £50,000 to help cover the costs associated with the production of his new film.
“Chasing Robert Barker is an independent, 90 minutes, psychological thriller shot on location in London. The film is seen from the perspective of a Paparazzi photographer before the wake of the phone hacking scandal.”
The main character, David, is a paparazzo who’s sent on a task to get pictures of Robert Barker, a famous actor, for a tabloid newspaper called ‘The Morning’. The film follows David on his journey as he realizes the story he should be seeking, was his own.
Supporters are invited to make a contribution ranging from £1 to £5,000.
Donors won’t walk away empty-handed. Contributors will receive a thank you gift, ranging from having their name placed on the Chasing Robert Barker webpage to becoming a co-producer on the film.
